…at least for this year.
There is just something magical about the first few cool mornings of September that make me want to drive to the nearest trail head, park my car, and run as long as my body will let me. I don’t know if it’s the crisp air, feeling the crunch of leaves under my feet, or feeling the wind in my face as I stand in a clearing or on a high ridge. Honestly, I think it’s all pretty nice.
I suppose it’s possible that I might be romanticizing this break in the weather just a bit, but that is okay, because this is my blog. 😉
Romantic ideals aside, this is a great time of year to get out there and get dirty. I would encourage all of you to explore that trails while we have this little window of trail running prime time.
