The 2018 in 2018 challenge is well under way and everyone is logging some impressive miles. I am looking forward to seeing how everyone does in February. Hopefully this challenge will keep you motivated to get out the door until spring finally arrives and we are no longer shivering on long dark runs.
Remember, What does not challenge you will not change you.
As you build miles through the mileage challenge, do not let self care take a back seat. There is a lot to be said for spending a few minutes on the foam roller at night or regular visits to the massage therapist or chiropractor. Also and most definitely, do not let hydration and nutrition take a back seat. We all know how important this piece of successful training is, and we also all know how easy it is to ignore.
Self Care = Self Love !!
In the months to come, we plan on sharing articles that will help keep you going and cover all areas of self care. To us, this is just as important as putting on running shoes and heading out the door. We mean that!
